Brisbane Truck Show 2021

Everything old is new again at the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show

The Brisbane Truck Show will return to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th May 2021, and this time heritage trucks are on the menu.

The Heritage Truck Association (HTAA) has been invited to take up a prominent location on the main floor of the 2021 Brisbane Truck Show, providing attendees with a unique experience, juxtaposing heritage with the new innovations at the Brisbane Truck Show.

The Brisbane Truck Show is the largest automotive event in the southern hemisphere with 38,000 attendees across the four days of the 2019 show.  The event went on to be crowned Australia’s Best Corporate Event and Best Trade Exhibition Show at the 2019 Australian Event Awards.

The show’s owners and organisers, Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) have been in contact with HTAA throughout 2020 and into 2021, with a view to connect the Heritage Truck Association’s show to the Brisbane Truck Show under the umbrella initiative, Australian Heavy Vehicle Industry week.

The ultimate goal was to increase the exposure of these events and add value to the heavy vehicle industry.  Of course, those ambitions were all the more timely as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the invention of the truck.

HVIA was saddened to hear that the HTAA 2021 annual truck show was being postponed due to COVID-19, but completely understood the rationale for doing so.

In recent weeks, however, HVIA has proposed an idea to HTAA which will ensure increased exposure for HTAA and the continuity of an ‘event’.

This opportunity has been made available to HTAA due to the generous donations by ISUZU and HVIA.

At a recent HTAA Committee meeting, it was decided to agree to the required terms and accept this proposal.  This offer will potentially increase exposure for HTAA, marketing opportunities and membership enquiries.  It would also ensure that the association with HVIA in 2023 is seamless.

Tickets can be ordered via www.brisbanetruckshow.com.au/tickets. HTAA Club Members please email editor@heritagetruckassociation.com.au for a code to use for discounted single-day passes at $10 each.

The tickets also give access to the new Civil Construction Field Days at Hamilton Northshore.

This will be a COVID Safe event
